  1. r/Volkswagen the mod team have opted to implement a 30 day account age restriction on the subreddit for all post types except text/self posts and comments. Our reasoning on this is that while we want to combat bots/spam, we do not want to impact users who have signed up specifically to ask a question of the community.

  2. Sep 3, 2015 · The punchline works because it's so banal and cheesy people think it's funny they thought of as many antisocial punchlines as they could. The point is to make the listener realise that, all along, there was a really simple way to fit the pope in a Volkswagen.

  3. Dec 18, 2022 · Silverstern is your place to go. Handles modern vws and audis. Also the shop to go for aftermarket parts. I have friends who have vw jettas, passats, golfs, lavidas. They have nothing but praise for the brand and as well as services of silverstern. 8. Award. Share. mailboxck.

  4. Dec 4, 2022 · To my understanding, Tiguans are not designed to last forever. You are supposed to get about 120K out of them over ten years and go buy a new one. Mine is a 2009 with 101K on it. I've pampered it for four years and 25K. No idea how it was treated before. Rear main seal, intake manifold, and water pump have been replaced.

  5. Oct 1, 2021 · Makes sense that VW owners would also be hateful shitty cucks. Dude is having a terrible time and all you fuck heads are being 100% worthless just like your shit cars. Hang in there man, my VW is a CBPA engine model MK6 and it's total garbage. Literally have held my life back putting 6000 dollars into that car.

  6. Dec 16, 2022 · No. However, if you can find yourself a VR6 CC, you’ve eliminated all those aforementioned issues. These cars had a run of 2.0T engines that were just a nightmare for the wallet. I was a VW tech and although nice cars, they were not reliable. I’ll put it this way, I have the ability to work on it and so I’d feel comfortable putting my ...

  7. Dec 27, 2023 · 2024 Atlas SEL - 2 month review. We’ve put 3000 miles on our VW Atlas since purchase around Halloween. Full disclosure I wanted the Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid but the wife won out. Good: Great ride and comfortable for long drives. The engine is very peppy and seems appropriately powered for the size of vehicle.

  8. Mar 31, 2021 · Former VW tech here (VWNA), the 2014 S came in one engine option the 2.0L (aka 2.0 slow). The 2.0 slow is well, slow and gutless but aside from that incredibly reliable. They used variations of the engine design from the 90’s until 2015 when they replaced it with the 1.4l TSI. I believe they only make 120-130hp but for a reason.

  9. Nov 12, 2020 · Tiguan is much more reliable (it has the same 8-speed transmission as the RAV4) and they're built and assembled in Mexico so parts are not crazy expensive like they used to be. VWs were for a time expensive to own. That's not the case anymore, and anyone who says otherwise probably owned one ten plus years ago. 4.

  10. Oct 28, 2020 · Share. [deleted] • 4 yr. ago. According the JD Power’s 2020 dependability study, VW is actually more reliable than Mazda. As a VW owner and someone who has lots of experience with many makes/models, any modern car will be more reliable than what you’re trading in or selling. Drive them and get the one you like better.
