I had thought about getting a 4 HH for a while, but I've really gotten used to having that B string, and as I play finger style or pick, a 4 banger doesn't really have any bonuses for me in terms of string spacing for slap.

The not existing Intonation (E was more F than E on the 12th fret) First i ajusted the Action like described in the FAQ (not more than a Business Card), then i lowered the saddles to get to the values (2.4 mm on the 12th fret) desribed in the faq.
Mar 6, 2014 · A 5-knob Stingray will have a volume, 3-band eq, and the 5th knob is the volume for the Piezo pickups in the bridge saddles. The bridge saddles will have a square cross section. If you look closely you will see an oval shaped insert in the top of each bridge saddle against which the string seats against as it passes over the saddle.

I am competent in soldering , just the integration of the new preamp with the existing circuitry ...
Oct 16, 2019 · The StingRay Classic pickup should measure 6/32's from the bottom of the G and E strings. If you feel like your bass isn't working as it should, feel free to shoot me an email at customerexperience@ernieball.com and I'll help you out. May 23, 2013 · There is the old US made SUB series (nice basses!), but these are the "budget version" of the recent Sterling series imports. So you have the Ray34, Ray35, and now the SUB series stingrays. The Ray34s are around $750-ish and the SUB series are around $300-ish.

I generally tend to boost the bass a little, cut the treble by about 50% and the mids are either flat or a slight cut or boost depending on the mood. T.

Swiss Frank said: QUESTION 2: I'm also aware HS models used to have a humbucking "dummy pickup" buried inside to cancel hum. The salesman said this new HS doesn't have that.
Jun 2, 2008 · Hello then. I'm responding to eamonsr5 from 06-02-2008. I play a 1979 Music Man Sabre Bass. I recently saved a gigin' friends bass, that he traded to a G.C., in order to install a Kahler wammi (don't wanna tamper with the 79). It is a 1992 Stingray I think.

Along with that the pickup polepiece material changed from ceramic to alnico. Experts correct me on the date if it's not correct.
