Covid-19 disease surveillance and vaccination. Since the detection of first Covid-19 case in January 2020, Epidemiology unit of Sri Lanka has been taking all necessary steps to reduce the spread of the disease in the country.
It is a record which disseminates epidemiological information on communicable diseases and outbreaks which has public health importance. A district summary of notified and confirmed communicable diseases is published and provides feedback to the communicable disease notification system.
