Takeshi Kaneshiro was born October 11th 1973 in Taipei, Taiwan to a Japanese father and Chinese mother. Attending both Japanese and Taiwanese schools, he was unfortunately bullied due to his mixed-race background, and spent much of his childhood as an outsider.
