This walkthough will introduce the sources that you need to find and unlock anything useful in the game, Below are the sources you'll need to achieve challenges, etc.

There are seven stand-alone Treasure Maps which reveal all hidden GPS Caches, Relics, and Documents in a region of the island. Once Lara gets her hands on that, you can track missing items by marking them in you in-game map (which is far more accurate and helpful when you are traveling).
You may attempt to locate all seven Treasure Maps (the other maps are rewards for completing the Tombs) using the Tomb Raider interactive map.
Lara can automatically find and mark missing Documents, Relics, and GPS Caches herself by using the Cartography skill. Notice that the targets for Challenges will not appear when Lara uses Survival Instinct (her "detective vision"); for challenge markers, you will need to refer to our the Tomb Raider interactive map.
