Then it asked me to upload my driver license. And now my coinbase is locked for 48hrs.
Nov 2, 2020 · I've been informed Coinbase provides an opt-out method where you choose Other Bank and then just verify the amounts of two deposits they send to you. Thank you. I'm not giving my bank login to anyone. Even my bank knows better than to ask. Thanks for the work-around.

Wouldn't surprise me if there was a wide-net brute force attack on passwords/accounts, but could also be an issue on Coinbase's end. Havent even started buying crypto but issues like this before even buying are really making the need for an offline wallet evident.
There’s a new elaborate Coinbase scam by fellow Americans. They knew my name, email, and phone number - likely from the Ledger hack that leaked all of our personal info (screw Ledger; never buy Ledger). They will send a text message saying: Coinbase: We detected a login from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jan 26, 2018 · media.peerconnection.enabled should be set to true for Coinbase login to show the dashboard. This also enables WebRTC which allows specific HTML5 calls to reveal current IP address even when connected via VPN. Some more observations: Coinbase does have a security screen where it shows all the login attempts and the corresponding IP addresses.
Jun 9, 2023 · Always used my coinbase login for Koinly (3 years now). When i try to login, it redirects to reset page, i enter my coinbase e-mail address and do not get any reset e-mails. I also changed my coinbase login, via coinbase website - still nothing. I know Gary Gensler has something to do with this. Joking aside, i have to get access.

Dec 20, 2020 · Coinbase has the worst identification system I have ever found in my whole life. In addition the support stuff is a complete joke to the point of convincing me that they are sabotaging the system. At a certain point, the robot that scans documents completely garbled my name and I started receiving errors that name does not match or birthday does not match.
Jan 11, 2024 · Does anyone know when Coinbase introduced the recovery pin? I created my account back in 2017. I’m trying to login for the first time in a year and after entering my email and password it is asking for a recovery pin. I’ve never heard of this before. I’ve only used the authenticator previously to login. Any thoughts on how to solve this?
