Aug 18, 2023 · 1 The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded the contracts for the Bukit Merah and Jurong West bus packages to SBS Transit Ltd (SBST) and SMRT Buses Ltd (SMRT) respectively. These contracts, estimated at a total fee of $890 million [1] over the five-year contract period, will commence progressively from the second quarter of 2024.
