Search results
Open Google Maps. Search for a place or click a place marker on the map. Select the photo with a Street View icon . When you’re done, at the top right, click Close . Use Pegman. Open Google Maps. In the bottom right, click Pegman . Drag Pegman to the area you want to explore.
To explore in Street View: drag your finger on the screen or tap the compass. To move: tap the arrows or double-tap the image in the direction you want to go. For a wider view and change to landscape mode: turn your device sideways. To zoom in: pinch open on the screen. To zoom out: pinch closed on the screen.
To report an image quality issue or request blurring for Street View imagery: On your computer, open Google Earth. Click a place or search for a location. At the bottom, click Pegman . Select a highlighted area. At the bottom left, click Report a problem. Fill out the form and click Submit.
Preview directions in Street View Important: To get directions in Street View, enter a destination and tap Directions . On your Android phone or tablet, to find detailed directions, pull up the bottom window. If a preview is available for a step, a photo shows. To get to Street View for the step you want, tap the photo.
On desktop or mobile, go to Street View Studio. On the left, click Upload. Select or drag-and-drop your 360 video. .mp4 and .mov files are currently supported. Most 360 cameras add metadata and GPS data to your video file. If your 360 camera outputs this information into a separate .gpx file, at the bottom right, select More Upload GPX file.
Add a Placemark from Street View. On your computer, open Google Earth. Open or create a new Earth project. Click Pegman . To enter Street View, select a location. To add a placemark to your project, at the bottom left, click Capture this view .

Tip: On your desktop, with Google Search, select Edit profile. Near the top, select the Location tab. Next to “Business location,” select the pencil icon . To adjust your location, select Adjust.
