Ponyo (Japanese: 崖の上のポニョ, Hepburn: Gake no Ue no Ponyo, lit. ' Ponyo on the Cliff ') [a] is a 2008 Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki.
Ponyo: Directed by Hayao Miyazaki. With Tomoko Yamaguchi, Kazushige Nagashima, Yûki Amami, George Tokoro. A five-year-old boy develops a relationship with Ponyo, a young goldfish princess who longs to become a human after falling in love with him.
