Nov 14, 2019 · Funny how Prism is calling them rave "reviews" when there's hardly any reviewing being done and they are clearly nothing more than paid for marketing material. Almost the entire article involves regurgitation of specifications of the 3 models. But at least its confirmed the tv is running on custom OS with some form of app store.

I estimate, an overall manufacturing cost is roughly USD200 for a 65", and the rest is providing warranty, logistics , storage, distributors, shop owners and advertisements. If you look at Prism+ , it cuts almost all expenses, except warranty and logistics cost.

As my renovation is not completed done yet, I have left the TV in the box first. May 9, 2021 · Since there is no prism+ in the list, so I decided to crawl the list of major china tv manufacturer. Not TCL, skyworth , great wall etc End up one works Hisense. Think educated guess is this particular model is OEM from Hisense. hisense also quite good i rather buy tiong brand than kimchi brand. my samsuck always spoil after 3 years. KNN.
Mar 25, 2020 · I do such comparisons often, and side by side, and the current OLEDS do give superior contrast, but LED have their advantages. You mentioned why not earlier, so I assumed you would go for the Prism instead of the LG... I would not do Prism plus if the price delta is not far from LG or any big brand. C.
Nov 14, 2019 · 1. All PRISM TV's sold still use ARC connection in 2023...IYKYK. It's a damn OLD, very finnicky standard with risks for bad HDMI handshakes. And that causes problems like soundbars not receiving sound from the TV, or worse, loud static pop noises if the handshake goes really cray.
Nov 14, 2019 · Anyone can recommend a soundbar for prism tv and can use 1 remote to control tv and soundbar sound. It's quite troublesome to have so many remote to control so many things. Report
Nov 14, 2019 · Prism replaced a few days later. 3rd TV - Could not turn on TV with remote or button, but there's green indicator. Something wrong with power board. Problem started after 1 week of using the TV. Conclusion - Tried to support a local brand, but so far very disappointed with the quality.
Nov 14, 2019 · We can consider to get Xiaomi/TCL TV which running android OS, but doesn't mean Xiaomi TV has no problem. I choose Prism+ TV because I have bright living room and Prism+ TV has 400nit brightness. And 3 years warranty service + part is most important thing when buying electronic.
