Æon Flux is a 2005 American science fiction action film based on the animated science fiction action television series of the same name created by Peter Chung, which aired on MTV from 1991 to 1995. It was directed by Karyn Kusama, written by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi, and produced by Gale Anne Hurd, David Gale, Gary Lucchesi and Greg Goodman.

The episodes were titled Æon Flux Animation, and they were not played in the original order from 1995. As of 2009, MTV2 shows Æon Flux shorts as a part of the block MTV2 Legit. During January and February 2011, Æon Flux was aired once again in El Salvador on VH1, in English language with Spanish subtitles.
Tasked with this mission, Aeon Flux (Charlize Theron) must integrate herself in a world of deceit and mystery.
