Aldro began with just 36 boys who paid 100 guineas a year in fees and from the start they adopted the Browne family crest with its motto of “Suivez Raison” (follow the right). The Rev Harold Browne was a remarkable man and under his leadership the school appears to have been a happy place.

Here at Aldro we operate each year on the following schedule: Christmas Term: Late August/early September to mid-December with a two week Half term in late October/early November. Lent Term: Early January to mid/late March with a one week half term in February.

The fees per term for 2024 - 2025. Registration: A non-refundable fee of £100. Deposit: An entry deposit of £1000 is required (a full term's boarding fee for the children of non UK residents and full boarders) to confirm acceptance once a place has been offered.
