Now whether or not the STEM classes at Barnard are actually worse is debatable, but the Columbia administration definitely views them that way regardless. 7. A third undergraduate college under Columbia University is Barnard College. Barnard is womens only and was founded when the rest of Columbia university was mens only.

Dec 27, 2019 · Barnard is a women's college that pays a hefty fee to affiliate with Columbia. It is not the same as actually attending Columbia, though you will get many perks as a Barnard student including campus access, ability to cross-register, and eligibility for athletics, clubs, etc.
RD acceptance at barnard is in the single digits, possibly less. for my class (2026), there were ~200 spots left for RD out of 700ish. over 10k students applied regular decision, resulting in an acceptance rate of ~0.18%. comparatively, only around 1.5k students applied ED, resulting in an acceptance rate of ~33%.
