Jul 14, 2022 · Walton closed out the Sixers in game 6 of the 1977 Finals with a 20/23/7 + 8 blocks. For that whole Finals he averaged 19/19/5 and almost 4 blocks per game. Any time this is brought up I always recommend finding a copy of The Breaks of the Game by David Halberstam, it is the best sports book ever written & chronicles the Blazers & the late 70s NBA.
