The Calgary Stampede is situated on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Piikani, Kainai), Tsuut’ina, and Îyâxe Nakoda (Bearspaw, Chiniki, Goodstoney) First Nations. Calgary is also Métis Nation of Alberta Districts 5 and 6.
