I have been using NordVPN with my HP laptop connected to my LG Smart TV by an HDMi cable, but as we are having a fibre optic Wifi supply cable installed next week, I want to have a more permanent installation without a cable laying across the room.

I know they are floor standing and not Evoke, but they sound awful up close to the wall, I'm guessing (at least in part) because they are rear ported. Have to sit them at least 50cm from rear wall, and a metre or so from side walls.

I assume you have an answer to your problem by now, if not, depending on the type of Sky box, Dolby 5.1 is output on optical and HDMI. I am using optical and when I select D-In on the 590 it then puts up 'Dolby D' on the display.
Mar 23, 2018 · Peak brightness gets reduced by 10% by setting the scanning backlight option to 1 (Clearness) but on the other hand you boost motion resolution by more than double. Values above 1 do no bring sizeable improvements. HDR peak brightness still ticks in at close to 900 nits with the scanning backlight system activated.

Feb 16, 2021 · Dirac and all of the others sound like hard work compared to RP's auto setup. The 2170 will drive your Special 40s and if you need streaming why not just buy an external streamer - I use a Teufel Connector connected using optical and it works fine. The Connector is now discontinued but they have a Streamer.
Nov 24, 2020 · A 100" Projector gives you a 68.66% larger area than a 77" TV. Even an with an 85" TV the projector is still 38.41% larger. For me, I would always be looking at upgrading the projector for a true cinematic experience when watching Films or a decent Netflix series and keep a smaller TV for watching the news. 👍. 1.
Feb 22, 2010 · Dec 12, 2020. #1. Hi. I've recently bought a philips the one 58pus8505 2020 on black Friday and have noticed that the sound sometimes dissappear for a short time. It happens mostly while watching HBO app, but also on other services and I don't know why. It seems it has to do with the TV itself cause it happens even if I use optical or TV speakers.
