What I do is try to get some focuses to get some decisions and when the sino Japanese war breaks out, I prepare some armies and wait for the Japanese to advance.
Jan 17, 2018 · Manchukuo is perhaps one of the weirdest players in the Chinese Civil War. Formally an Empire led by an Emperor, it was also a puppet. Despite owning a large chunk of China, it was never able to field the numbers the other Chinese factions brought to the fight.
Mar 12, 2018 · I think the strategy would, broadly speaking, make sense if Japan pivots to it after the player has chosen the Obedience focus. As it stands, many players will play Manchukuo with the goal of breaking free, and the strategy will end up hurting Japan both in terms of Manchukuo being stronger, and of opportunity cost.

Removed banditry, became regular puppet and fought against China and Sinkiang. Gathered 30 divisions (including those 4 maxed 7inf2art divs you get for free).

The Manchuria Project has an additional purpose: If AI Japan goes down the non-aligned path; then these are intended to help Japan against the USSR, (Sadly though this generally results in AI Communist China picking a fight with Japan and so ending up at war with China anyway; but without the Marco Polo penalties)

May 31, 2016 · Manchukuo is gone because the Japanese AI doesn't do the desired things when the puppet shares borders with their enemies and not they themselves. And after a lot of people asked why Japan has no puppets, they added Mengjiang instead. I would be happier if both are gone.
