Non-guardian only items that become Guardian-only are similar. If the item was released to all players but later stuck in a Guardian-only quest, it is of course not available to Adventurers. But "Guardian-only" is another database tag. If a normal item in a now-Guardian-only quest was given that tag, Adventurers with the item lose the item.
