Jun 9, 2023 · Fill it from the side till it drips, about 4L, close the plug and run it 5 minutes or so, fill another .5L till it drips, done. I think Honda removed the check stick and started adding 5L after the problems started. There is alot of stuff Honda does without telling people. John35g.
Jul 29, 2023 · The look of the interior, the electronics package and the radio sound quality are all just fine. Doors shut with a good thunk and the body seems tight as a drum. On good pavement, wind and road noise are about as expected for a low-priced (in theses days) vehicle. The vehicle easily cruises at any legal speed.
Mar 5, 2024 · Honda HRV Power and Acceleration. As a new owner of a 2024 HRV, I’ve read and reviewed a lot of articles, videos, etc. on the HRV. One comment that surfaces commonly is acceleration (or lack of) - 0-60 times etc. Comments result such as: The HRV is not a numbers car. The HRV makes “adequate” power. The HRV “feels slow”.

Just did my first oil change by myself: HR-V 2024 EX-L, 9 months, 6000 km and oil life 30% left. used: 4.4 US qt (4.2 L) engine oil ( Mobil 1 Advanced and FRAM XG7317 ) It was so difficult to remove 8 screws and also difficult to tighten 4 flat screws.
Apr 17, 2022 · Apparently, the transmission fluid cap can be locked into position 2 ways. In one direction it will be fine. If pointing another direction, the shift lever will actually knock into the cap, loosening it over time (and/or knocking it off completely). Then transmission fluid drains out causing catastrophic transmission failure.

The LCD screen would alternate between showing the 2 warnings. It says my Parking Brake is unavailable, but it actually works just fine. It engages and disengages when I push the lever.
