Sep 2, 2015 · The real issue is that in NMC / Monitoring the status of a failed savegroup changes to 'Successful' when the jobs retention expires (!). Earlier we had much greater jobsdb retention value (336 hours) and we used a 'trick' to help us to track the status of the backups which are not running daily. Example:

Dec 4, 2012 · In networker 8 we have new SQLite database for jobsdb and it is said that the new database is no longer searchable as was the database used in previous versions of NetWorker. What does it mean and why is it not searchable? savegroup details are now stored in jobsdb. However, if it’s not searchable then its use is limited?
Dec 28, 2020 · The policy information is stored in the jobsdb database. The policy will disappear from the Monitoring tab when the Jobsdb is reset upon reaching the retention time. To check or modify the jobsdb retention please do the following: From the Networker Management Console (NMC) GUI: Login to the NMC GUI. Go to the Protection TAB.
Aug 7, 2014 · I'd suggest: - Uninstall the DPA Agent. - Go to Admin / System / Configure System Settings and expand Data Collection Agents. - See if the agent is still listed. If it is, click on the agent then click "REMOVE DATA COLLECTION AGENT". - Reinstall the DPA Agent. Hope that helps. Gareth. Thanks for responding Gareth.
Click the network or server name, click properties, network or server properties window is displayed in the properties window, click configuration by default jobs, DB retention will be 72 hours to change jobs DB retention time, remove the existing value and update the new value in hours. Click OK, to save and close jobs.
