Mar 24, 2021 · Manchester is a really good university but the issue is its size. It is one of the largest universities by student numbers and this would affect the perceived prestige. For the courses that they are good at, they are among the very best. If you are keen on PPE, I would suggest that you also apply to Oxford.
Im planning on taking a gap year next year so I was wondering of applying to Manchester uni for economics. Ive never seen the campus or the actual uni but have heard good things about it and just wanted any advice from current Manchester uni applicants and applicants that have applied their for their respective courses.

Pretty much this. 3000 computers across all the clusters, loads of laptop stations with a desk and place to plug it in and things. Can't tell you about art subjects because I'm a scientist. Reply 7.

A stunning lake, beautiful greenery in places, the gorgeous Heslington Hall, a swanky new Heslington East campus (and the older site now contains many modern buildings too) but too much of it feels like a science park for international students.
