Jean Edith Camilla Läckberg Sköld (Swedish pronunciation: [kaˈmɪ̂lːa ˈlɛ̂kːbærj]; born August 30, 1974) is a Swedish crime writer. As of the early-2010s, her work has been translated into more than 40 languages in 60 countries.
The story is broken up over 12 episodes, most being approximately 90 minutes long. The first two episodes of the series were aired in 2012, despite the fact that filming of the show had to suddenly and ironically cease in 2011, due to the disappearance of Daniel Lind Lagerlöf, the director.
