Overview. Ealing has 5 stages ranging from 1,000 – 10,000 square feet, comprised of three classic 1930s sound stages and two smaller stages that are perfect for VFX, camera tests, pack shots and stills. The Studios are also equipped with workshops, prop stores, make-up and costume facilities that cater to all kinds of productions.

Ealing is the oldest continuously working studio facility for film production in the world. The grade II listed sound stages were opened in 1931, when the studios were developed by Associated Talking Pictures under theatre producer Basil Dean. In 1938, celebrated film producer Michael Balcon took over the Studios.

And since 2002, Ealing Studios has been up and running again, a successful production company, a lively and expanding centre for filmmaking and a major player in a resurgent British film industry.
