Cramer worked for Paramount Television and Spelling Television, producing series such as Mission: Impossible, The Brady Bunch, and Dynasty. Cramer began his career in advertising, serving as a broadcast supervisor at Proctor & Gamble, and later on supervising Lever Brothers and General Foods programs at Ogilvy & Mather in New York City.
