Luigi Cozzi was a guest of the Offscreen Film Festival in Brussels in February 2011, where his STARCRASH from 1978 was shown in a special science fiction theme program. Often cited as a blatant STAR WARS rip-off, STARCRASH is actually also an homage to everything Cozzi admired, like the work of Ray Harryhausen he would later try to emulate with two HERCULES movies.

Luigi Cozzi's mental semi-sequel to Suspiria/Inferno is a hodge podge of ideas and Argento homage. The story is a sort of meta tribute to Argento's films, focusing on the production of a third part of the Three Mothers trilogy, which inadvertently awakens the Third Mother herself for some reason.

By far Cozzi’s oddest and most absurdly pointless project was a 1977 overhaul of the original Godzilla, which was released on unsuspecting and presumably aghast Italian cinemagoers in the wake of the 1976 King Kong. Giant monsters were expected to be all the rage, and Cozzi thought a re-release of the 1954 film would be a big hit.
