Born in Tokyo in 1969, potter Shinobu Hashimoto founded Tenstone Studio and Gallery in Hokkaido, Japan. His goal is to design and manufacture ceramics that fit our modern lifestyle. In doing so, he keeps the forms simple with minimal embellishments, staying true to the original texture and shape of the clay.

Shinobu Hashimoto (Jepang: 橋本 忍, Hashimoto Shinobu) (18 April 1918 – 19 Juli 2018) adalah seorang penulis skenario, sutradara, dan produser Jepang yang sering berkolaborasi dengan Akira Kurosawa. Ia telah memenangkan beberapa penghargaan untuk 16 tulisan skenarionya, termasuk memenangkan Blue Ribbon Awards, terutama pada tahun 1960-an.
