With director, Neil Jordan, at the helm and actors, Robert De Niro and Sean Penn, offering lead performances, "We're No Angels" should have a fighting chance to be an accomplished piece of work. Unfortunately, the film falls flat in most aspects. It is a watchable comedy but boasts very little that is memorable.
