Ghulam (Arabic: غلام, ALA-LC: ghulām) is an Arabic word meaning servant, assistant, boy, or youth. It is used to describe young servants in paradise. It is also used to refer to slave-soldiers in the Abbasid , Ottoman , Safavid and to a lesser extent, Mughal empires , as described in the article Ghilman , which is the plural form of the word.

Apr 6, 2010 · In Ghulam, Aamir pulled off the tough guy act quite convincingly, and being Aamir, he still needed to evolve his moral side. The end was so much violence that I could do without, but I forgive that as I can't seem to get enough of hit song Aati Kya Khandala (one of the few songs, I beleive, in which Aamir performs the actual male vocal).
