Mar 16, 2024 · Jo Vigor-Mungovin, author of Joseph: The Life, Times & Places of the Elephant Man, claimed to have discovered the location of his burial in be an unmarked grave in the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium. She said that the story of Merrick’s soft tissue being buried had not been proven because of the number of graveyards at the time.
