Jun 12, 2018 · It was the first Amerie project that felt a little directionless. It swung wildly from hyperactive pop ( “Heard Em All” ) to 90s R&B ( “Pretty Brown”) with little cohesion. It wasn’t trash by any means but it wasn’t anywhere near as good as previous efforts. But hey, that album artwork was fire at least.
