Went to Shaw Lido imax to watch dune, worth it. Used to be Lido IMAX, now jewel IMAX- though smaller screen, colours appears brighter thanks to the laser projectors. Pro tip, choose I17-19 or J17-19 for best viewing exp for lido and D11-12 for Jewel. IMAX waterway point is a disappointment because the audio is bad.

Jan 1, 2024 · I recently watched Dunkirk on IMAX 70mm format at Shaw Lido IMAX, which was the intended cinema experience by the director. The screen size may not be the biggest in Singapore (that honor goes to the GVMax movie theatre in Vivocity), but because the screen is situated quite close to the seating, it actually looks much bigger when watching.
Jan 18, 2016 · The first, Lido IMAX, is in town at Orchard and it remains the biggest one run by Shaw, the exclusive IMAX partner for Singapore. The second is in JCUBE in Jurong and the third is at the new Waterway Point at Punggol. In terms of size, the new IMAX at Waterway Point is bigger than the one in JCUBE but smaller than the one at Lido.
