The visitor's center was great, the monuments were impressive, and the markers were informative. We spent several hours here and it was worth the time! Don't miss seeing the USS Cairo. Also, there's a spot where you have a great view of the Mississippi River and there's a plaque that explains where the path of the river was during the war.
