James Abner "P. J." Locke III (born February 12, 1997) is an American football safety for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas. Locke was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent following the 2019 NFL draft.

Mar 11, 2024 · The Broncos have retained one of their key impending free agents, safety P.J. Locke, who started eight games and recorded an interception in 2023. Locke, who signed to practice squad in 2019, played nearly 70 percent of the defensive snaps and 75 percent of the special teams snaps in his first season as a starter.
Mar 9, 2024 · P.J. Locke, who had his best season as a pro in 2023, will stay with the Broncos after agreeing to a $7 million contract. The former Texas standout will compete for a starting role with Caden Sterns and JL Skinner in 2024.
