Starting from June 2019, Twenty One Pilots released a series of alternative versions of some of their songs, with the track name accompanied by coordinates, indicating the city in which the recording took place. The first release was an alternative acoustic version of "Chlorine", recorded in Mexico City, Mexico. On July 2019 an alternative version of "Cut My Lip" was released, recorded in Brooklyn, New York. After three months, the band released the third song adaptation of "The Hype", recorded in Berlin, Germany.
After the releases of "Chlorine (19.4326° N, 99.1332° W)" and "Cut My Lip (40.6782°N, 73.9442° W)" under their former titles, the band abandoned the coordinates used in the songs titles and replaced them with the names of the respective cities that they indicated, renaming them as "Chlorine (Mexico City)" and "Cut My Lip (Brooklyn)". This change occurred on the same day "The Hype (Berlin)" was released.

Location Sessions (stylized as «Løcatiøn Sessiøns») — This is a series of singles released 2019 - 2020 alternative reconstructed Twenty One Pilots songs recorded at several different sessions. In June 2021 singles were released on vinyl in 16,000 copies exclusively for Record Store Day.
