Rona Munro (born 7 September 1959) is a Scottish writer. She has written plays for theatre, radio, and television. Her film work includes Ken Loach's Ladybird, Ladybird (1994), Oranges and Sunshine (2010) for Jim Loach and Aimée & Jaguar (1999), co-authored by German director Max Färberböck.
Rona Munro is a Scottish writer who has worked on film, television, stage and radio since 1981. She is best known for writing the final episode of the original Doctor Who series and the 2010 film Oranges and Sunshine.

Rona Munro. Writer: Oranges and Sunshine. Rona Munro started writing professionally in 1981 and has since written for film, television, stage and radio. She wrote plays for The Play on One (1988) as well as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was accepted to the BBC's writer's training course.
