Anne Elliot (later Anne Wentworth) is the protagonist of Persuasion. She is the middle daughter of Sir Walter Elliot, a baronet; and the late Lady Elliot. Anne was born August 9th in 1787. She has two sisters: one older, Elizabeth; and one younger, Mary Musgrove.
