Rare Bird Films. Rare Bird Films started in 2008 as a collaboration between Cristan Crocker Reilly and Andrea Blaugrund Nevins. Reilly had read Punk Rock Dad written by childhood friend Jim Lindberg of the punk band Pennywise and approached Nevins about creating a documentary. [1]
