Bill Oddie is a British comedian and wildlife conservationist, best known for creating and starring in The Goodies (1970-1982). He has also written and acted in various TV shows, movies and podcasts, and received the OBE in 2003.
William Edgar (Bill) Oddie OBE (born 7 July 1941) is a British comedian, actor, writer and television personality. Oddie was born in Rochdale, Lancashire and grew up in Birmingham. He read English Literature at Pembroke College, Cambridge where he gained an MA.
