Petru Jelihovschi is a Moldovan singer born March 14 , 1981. He was a member of the group O-Zone for a short time until he left in the early 2000s due to Dan Bălan wanting to take the group into a more serious direction.

In 1998, Dan Bălan and Petru Jelihovschi formed the eurodance duo group, O-Zone. They released their first album on 1999 called Dar, Unde Ești... However not long after the albums release, Petru decided to leave the group.
In 1998, Balan formed O-Zone, a new musical project, with Petru Jelihovschi, former vocalist in Inferialis. The duo released their first album entitled Dar unde esti? later that year and it became a commercial hit with seven of the album's ten songs reaching number one on the charts of the main radio stations in Moldova.
