Henning Lohner (born 17 July 1961) is a German-American composer and filmmaker. He is best known for his film scores written as a long-standing member of Hans Zimmer ’s music cooperative Remote Control Productions .
Henning Lohner is a German-born film composer, director and writer who has worked on over 50 feature films, including The Ring, In the Name of the King and Marcello Marcello. He also collaborated with Frank Zappa, John Cage and Hans Zimmer, and taught at the Zurich Academy for Music and Theatre.

Henning Lohner. Composer: The Ring Two. Henning Lohner was raised near Palo Alto, California, to German emigrant parents. He returned to Germany to complete studies in musicology at Frankfurt University, from which he graduated as MA in 1987.
