Mar 23, 2024 · The CBS/Fox Company was formed in late 1982 as a joint venture between CBS and 20th Century-Fox. Prior to the joint venture, Fox's video releasing company was known as 20th Century-Fox Video. In mid-1982, CBS Video Enterprises, who had been split from MGM, and 20th Century-Fox Video merged together to form The CBS/Fox Company.
