Andrew Davis (born November 21, 1946) is an American film director, producer, writer, and cinematographer who is known for directing a number of successful action thrillers including Code of Silence, Above the Law, Under Siege, and The Fugitive.
Sir Andrew Frank Davis CBE (2 February 1944 – 20 April 2024) was an English conductor. He was the long-time chief conductor of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
Andrew Davis is a filmmaker known for directing intelligent thrillers, such as The Fugitive, Under Siege and Holes. He has also worked as a cinematographer, writer and novelist, and has been nominated for several awards, including an Oscar and a Golden Globe.
