Janet Roddick is best known as a vocalist. She has sung jazz, opera, and classics from the songbooks of Kurt Weill and John Lennon. She can also channel the sounds of magpies, and the unearthly screeches of the One Ring in The Lord of the Rings.
Janet Roddick. Janet studied singing and has a BMus in Voice from Otago, a Certificate in Executant Music from Wellington Polytechnic and plays trombone and piano. She has made numerous International Arts Festival performances in contemporary music theatre roles, some composed specially for her.

Janet Roddick - Janet Roddick is a member of Plan 9, a musical collective whose CV includes composing 20+ features and over 130 hours of television. Roddick first sang alongside David Donaldson and Steve Roche in celebrated band Six Volts, before the three formed Plan 9 in the early 90s.
