When Max L Raab agreed to provide 1 million dollars to produce the film with Roeg directing Jagger in the lead from the Southern screenplay, Kubrick decided that he wanted to direct it. Warner Brothers agreed to finance it and Litvinoff made the deal and used the million dollars to produce "Walkabout" directed by Roeg.

Walkabout is a 1971 adventure survival film directed by Nicolas Roeg and starring Jenny Agutter, Luc Roeg, and David Gulpilil. Edward Bond wrote the screenplay, which is loosely based on the 1959 novel by James Vance Marshall.
A young sister and brother are abandoned in the harsh Australian outback and must learn to cope in the natural world, without their usual comforts, in this hypnotic masterpiece from Nicolas Roeg.

Unable to get approval to make the film, Roeg asked for the help of Litvinoff, who convinced executive producer Max Raab to help finance the project. According to Litvinoff, clearing the rights for production took another year.

Best known for his two 1971 productions Walkabout and A Clockwork Orange, and the 1976 David Bowie film, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Si Litvinoff graduated with honours from Adelphi College in New York, and later went on to N.Y.U. Law School.
All the Right Noises was the first picture to be produced by the team of Max L. Raab and Si Litvinoff, who also produced the 1971 releases A Clockwork Orange and Walkabout (see entries below). The picture marked the feature film debut of associate producer Anthony J. Hope, comedian Bob Hope's son.
