Growing up in East Orange, New Jersey in the 1980s, there was never a dull moment in his neighborhood. Tabari was born to Linda Sturdivant, a Microbiologist, and single mom.
Soon after Roger Bobb (Sr. VP / Producer) of Tyler Perry Studios hired him as Production Assistant on House of Payne and Meet the Browns. Tabari has since worked on over 300 television shows and 6 movies. In 2010 he was called on to be one of Tyler Perry’s Executive Assistants.
