Poppy revealed the title of the song alongside the album's tracklist on July 19th, 2023.
On September 5th, Poppy posted two teaser images to social media with the caption "Vrooom vrooom vrooom ✨". The following day Poppy announced the single's release via social media with the caption "Motorbike out 9/12 🤍🖤".
