  6. An exemplary, hard-swinging mainstream jazz record from 1990. McClure's all-star quartet burns through a set of songs from the Miles/Bill Evans songbooks, as well as three excellent originals. Abercrombie and his guitar synth lay out on "All Blues," "Stella by Starlight," and Beirach's lovely ballad, "Elm." Well worth your time.
