Gerard Baker is a British writer and columnist. He was Dow Jones' Managing Editor, and The Wall Street Journal ' s Editor-in-Chief from March 2013 until June 2018. Baker stepped down as WSJ Editor-in-Chief and transitioned into the role of Editor-at-Large. He was succeeded by WSJ executive editor Matt Murray.

Gerard Austin Baker (11 April 1938 – 24 August 2013) was an American soccer player. From 1955 until 1970, he played 16 seasons in either the Scottish or English first division. He earned seven caps with the US national team in 1968 and 1969, scoring two goals.
Gerry Baker is a former host of FBN's WSJ at Large and a current Editor-at-Large for the Wall Street Journal. He has interviewed many influential figures in business, politics and media, and has worked for the Financial Times, the Times of London and the BBC.
