  2. Jan 20, 2010 · Just pulled this disc out tonight for first time in a long time----It's basically Rockpile with Carlene on vocals. Listening to the Demon cd (2fer) with Musical Shapes and Blue Nun--my fav is Musical Shapes by a mile. "Baby Ride Easy" duet with Dave Edmunds is very nice. Anyone else like this one?

  3. Nov 11, 2016 · I have the two fer of Musical Shapes and Blue Nun. The former has Rockpile backing her for most songs. The Latter is a real unknown album that I really like. It has several Nick Lowe co-writes, 2 duets with Paul Carrack, and she stretches her chops to try some R&B and she sounds absolutely excited at times. I swear I can hear smiling ...

  4. Nov 11, 2005 · Yes, Musical Shapes and (to a lesser extent) Blue Nun are basically Carlene Carter with Rockpile as her backing band. The two were released together as an import twofer 10-12 years ago.
