Narges Abyar (Persian: نرگس آبیار, also romanized as Narges Ābyār; born 8 August 1970) is an Iranian film director, author, and screenwriter, best known for directing Track 143, Breath, and When the Moon Was Full.
Narges Abyar graduated in Persian literature; She started writing books in 1997. Up to the present, she has written more than thirty story and fiction books for children, young adults and adults. She was selected as an Oscar Academy member in 2020.

When the Moon Was Full ( Persian: شبی که ماه کامل شد) is a 2019 Iranian drama film written and directed by Narges Abyar. The film is based on the true story of the brother and sister-in-law of Abdolmalek Rigi, the former leader of the Jundallah terrorist group in the Iran's southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
